Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management Foundational Level 2 certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). Must sign DD Form 2888 (Critical Acquisition Position Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement.
This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 450) upon entry and annually thereafter.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: Your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DE-02, higher-end of the Pay Band equivalent to GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes: Managing acquisition life cycle program activities of equipment and services; Effectively communicating critical information to senior leadership through briefings and written examples; and/or Analyzing cost comparison options for modernization efforts; Utilizing logistics data management software to maintain and update records, statistical data, and inventory.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE 02/GS-11).
This position is part of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC), Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory Personnel Management Demonstration Project. CCDC Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Personnel Management Demonstration Projection. The DE-03 (Category 2) pay band is equivalent to the GS-12 step 1 through GS-14 step 10 grade levels.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
