Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2, and a Childcare Tier 1 background investigation is required.
Incumbent may also require completing a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
In case of exposure to infectious disease, incumbent is required to obtain the Hepatitis B vaccination series within a 24-hour period. Incumbent is required to follow environmental safeguards and wear personal protective equipment.
The following certificate must be obtained within 6 months of appointment: American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis and Associate Lifeguard Instructor Certification
The following certificate must be obtained within 6 months of appointment: American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard Water Safety Instructor Certification.
May be assigned to irregular duties or when needed for special recreational events and related requirements. Work hours may involve weekend, weekdays, holidays and night duty.
Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service, see www.sss.gov.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain the following certificates:
American Red Cross "Lifeguard" certification or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification.
American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer" (CPR-Pro) certification or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis & Associates (CPR) Certification.
Must possess the following certifications when facilities use Automated External Defibrillator "AED's" and Oxygen Administration "O2 bottles":
American Red Cross "Automated External Defibrillator" (AED) certification or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis & Associates AED certification.
American Red Cross "Oxygen Administration" certification or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis & Associates Oxygen Administration certification.
Education
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
This is a pay-banded position.
Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials
Overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
