This is a Distribution Center Lead role – you will learn all of the core operations of the Maple Heights Distribution Center and help train and guide other distribution center associates at the facility. 

Starting wage: $20.00/hour + based on experience

The Warehouse Lead performs, and leads a team of Associates in, the following daily tasks;

• Unloading trucks
• Receiving material
• Put-away of material
• Picking customer orders
• Staging customer orders for delivery
• Loading customer delivery trucks
• Cycle counting inventory
• Small project and maintenance work  

Note: Famous Supply Drivers will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces and showers. 

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
• Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks listed above are done accurately
• Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized
• Lead and train other Distribution Center associates under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager

Required Experience and Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Problem solving
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hours day
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience and Skills

• 3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
• Experience leading or co-leading a small team
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge 
• Forklift experience
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
• Experience working in a distribution center
• Experience using RF Scanners
