Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Engineers for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Plymouth, MN.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Armament Systems team within our Weapon Systems Division.
Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing a graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2025.

Having majored in Engineering for their Bachelors and is currently pursuing a graduate degree (Master's or PhD) focused in Systems Engineering, Complexity, Systems of Systems, Model-Based Systems Engineering, or closely related discipline

Be available to work part-time (up to 20 hours a week), remotely, during Winter 2025 and then full-time (40 hours per week) on-site for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025.
* Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Preferred Qualifications:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.

Salary Range: *$1 - $2
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
