Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Lodging Facility located on Tyndall AFB, FL . You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have increasingly responsible experience in the following: (1) The use of hand tools and small machinery. (2) Minor facility repair and grounds maintenance. (3) Experience must show the applicant has general experience in warehousing techniques, experience in operating a motor vehicle and familiarity with plumbing repairs.(4) The ability to communicate in English, effectively both orally and in writing. (5) Must be able to life objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally more. (6) Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. (7) Employee is required to possess/maintain a valid Florida Driver's License and obtain/maintain a valid government operator's license. (8) Must have a satisfactory local agency check. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
