Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National Qualifications You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Performing research and analysis relating to laws, regulations, policies or procedures, and utilizing this information to make decisions, and provide guidance and recommendations; AND - Preparing clear and effective reports or other written materials for an audience; AND - Performing review and analysis of program infrastructure and conveying findings. OR You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related, OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, in an accredited college or university that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Specialized Experience: For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Performing research and analysis relating to laws, regulations, policies, or procedures; AND - Providing customer service that included answering questions, resolving problems, or responding to complaints; AND - Preparing, editing, and formatting documents and reports. OR You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Education: A master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related, OR two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, in an accredited college or university that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time.
