Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO - Treasury Operations. As a/an Furniture Specialist (CAD Operator/Installer), you will serve as the Furniture Specialist in the Project Management Branch, Facilities Services, Treasury Operations, Assistant Secretary for Management/CFO, Departmental Offices (DO). Treasury Operations mission is to be customer service champions in the delivery of innovative and cost-effective business solutions for the Department of the Treasury.

Key Requirements:
Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Must successfully complete a background investigation.
Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the GS-12 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
-Prioritizing and developing recommendations/solutions to issues within installation, building inspection, and acceptance of projects that are of 300 workstations or greater.
-Ensuring communication and coordination between all parties involved: project manager, design manager, contract specialist, the contractor, the project technical team, and the client;
-Experience with project planning that includes design, scheduling, logistics, building code compliance, and cost analysis
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the GS-11 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
-Managing multiple tasks and aiding in solutions to problems encountered during coordination of installation, building inspections, and approval of projects that are of 300 workstations or greater.
-Ensuring coordination between the project manager, design manager, contract specialist, the contractor, the project technical team, and the client.
-Visiting construction sites to monitor progress and solicit input from Engineering Technician/Quality Assurance representatives, review reports, and attend meetings to ensure, scheduling, logistics, building code compliance, and cost analysis are met.

You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher
level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
You may qualify with a combination of experience and education. To combine education and experience, your total qualifying experience is calculated as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level. Then, your education is calculated as a percentage of the education required for the grade level. The two percentages are added together. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify for that grade level. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
