Adventist Health Howard Memorial is hiring for a Orthopedic APP, Physician Assistant to join our busy and thriving rural health clinic in beautiful Mendocino County, CA. This represents an outstanding opportunity for someone interested in country living in a beautiful, family-friendly Northern California community of Willits.

Incoming candidate would be joining a multi-specialty rural health clinic right next to our critical access hospital and joining multiple other primary care providers.

The orthopedic practice is set within a strong, high quality, collegial medical community. Providers have an excellent relationship with hospital administration resulting in a well-equipped office and operating rooms.

Adventist Health Howard Memorial is located in Willits, California, in beautiful northern Mendocino County. The city of Willits, centrally located in the heart of Mendocino County, is on U. S. Highway 101 and State Highway 20 West approximately halfway between San Francisco and Eureka (140 miles either direction), 158 miles west of Sacramento and 36 miles east of the Pacific coast. The town is rich in history and beautiful scenery, from rolling hills to picturesque ranches dotting the landscape. Named after Hiram Willits, the town was settled by pioneering ranchers in the 1850s. Willits has a very moderate climate year-round. The coastal influence contributes to this wonderful climate especially in the summer months when our neighbors to the south can be up to 10 degrees warmer. Willits is nestled at the western edge of the Little Lake Valley at 1,350 feet above sea level and is surrounded by the forested mountains of the coastal range.
