The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform the following tasks: 1) Troubleshoots, disassemble, repair, modify, overhaul, reassemble, test, install/remove, arms and de-arm aircraft ordnance/armament systems; 2) Troubleshoots, remove, repair and install ejection seat components such as: Inertia Reels, Harness Release Actuators, Time Delay Mechanisms, Drogue Guns, Bell Crank Firing Control Assemblies; 3) Troubleshoots, removes, repairs and installs aircraft armament systems components/parts; 4) Troubleshoots, removes, repairs and installs aircraft egress system components; 5) Interprets blueprints, schematics, work drawings and technical publications of various types of aircraft and associated systems. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. The position often requires irregular hours. This position requires rotating shift work. Several vacancies may be filled.
