Conditions of Employment
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
Incumbent may be required to Travel away from duty station 25% of the time.
This position requires an Official Passport with no travel restrictions, or incumbent must be able to obtain a passport with no travel restrictions.
Direct deposit of pay is required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent next lower grade level of GS-12, which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as supporting project or program management at the organizational level which includes recommending policies and technical procedures to improve efficiency; evaluating data on projects or programs logistical mission performance; delivering formal and informal presentations to all management levels on topics such as the history, current status, and objectives of the logistics program.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Acquisition Advanced Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.

Term appointment limited to 13 months, but may be extended without further competition, up to a maximum of 8 years. May be converted non-competitively to career-conditional or career appointment (modified term provision.)
This position may be converted to permanent career or career-conditional appointment without further competition as long as all requirements are met. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent.
May be converted non-competitively to career-conditional or career appointment based on personal competitive status.
