You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-9/10 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting emergency management at federal activities with multiple facilities or a large workforce (e.g., greater than 100) in collaboration with other organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; OR An LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.
