a Lead Physician AssistantĀ with the Cardiothoracic Surgery program.Ā PA will have maximum exposure to
difficult cases and work in the full continuum of cardiac care with a dynamic team! Requires
licensure as PA with prescriptive authority. Experience Required. Ā Lutheran Hospital is a
396-bedtertiary care center with an advanced cardiac care program: Advanced heart failure and VADs,
complex arrhythmias and devices, TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman, CardioMEMS and more!

harvesting experience required Ā Provide leadership, direction and guidance to other APPs within
the service line Ā Collaborate with LMG leadership to establish work schedules, policies,
standards and protocols along with the hiring and training of new APPs Ā Assist in surgical
procedures, including saphenous vein harvesting, endoscopic vein harvesting, open and closure of the
chest, cannulation and decannulation, radial artery harvesting Ā Manage post-op patient, including
wound care, removing pacing wires, staples, sutures, chest tubes and central lines Monitor,
consult and act as liaison between surgeon, patient, family and staff Ā Collaborative team of
