Maintenance Mechanic

Summary The incumbent performs upkeep and repair of all ward utilities on a regular basis. Such repairs include repairing desks, storage lockers, filing cabinets, and beds. They will adjust televisions, nurse call equipment, fire alarm equipment, water sprinklers, plumbing fixtures, electrical lighting fixtures, and dietetic equipment. Must have a journey level proficiency in at least two of the following trades: Locksmith, Electrician, Plumbing, Carpentry. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
