Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Grissom Inn on Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. The primary purpose of this position is to manage expendable and nonexpendable supply equipment items for lodging operations. The position is a flexible position, which means you are not guaranteed hours or benefits but could work anywhere between 0 and 40 hours per week. Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Must possess a valid state driver's license; the ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Progressively responsible experience in supply work which provided knowledge of rules, regulations, procedures, and program requirements of the local supply organization and the organizations serviced. Knowledge of supply inventory and accountability procedures and regulations. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve supply problems and/or deviations from normal supply management procedures or program requirements. Knowledge and ability to perform a range of standard clerical assignments and to resolve recurring problems. Typing skills are required. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
