Summary This position is located in the Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Facilities and Administrative Services (OFAS), Support Services Division (SSD), Administrative Services Branch. The incumbent performs a variety of assignments and projects in support of the mission of OFAS including driving services such as passport and visa runs, and and transporting political and nonpolitical appointed Senior Officials in the Secretary's Immediate Office and OS. Qualifications At the GS-07 level, you must meet the following qualification: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes providing administrative support and technical/advisory assistance with automation programs; perform time keeping functions independently. Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Telework Suitability: The duties of this position are suitable for telework only during an emergency or natural disaster. Stipulations of Employment: Selection may require completion of a 1-year probationary period. This position requires operation of a Government vehicle, therefore, proof of possession of a valid state driver's license is required. This position is subject to a negative drug test prior to entrance on duty, and random drug testing while you occupy the position. Work Schedule: This position allows for a flexible work schedule.
