Job Description

Summary This position is located within the FAA, Aviation Safety (AVS), Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM), Aerospace Medical Research Division (AAM-600). AAM is responsible for a broad range of medical programs and services for both the domestic and international aviation communities. Qualifications To qualify at the FV-I (GS/FG 13) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H (GS/GS 12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized Experience includes experience administering and/or overseeing acquisition programs for multiple contracts; reviewing procurement documents related to the creation of a contract, extension, modification, or close-out; reconciles contracts with budgetary and financial data; maintain and update automated systems for tracking obligations and expenditures of funds; analyzing or evaluating program activity and documenting processes and procedures; making recommendations for process improvements. AND Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well qualified applicants will possess Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Level 2 certification(certificate required).
