Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Incumbent will serve as Motor Vehicle Operator for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Logistics Activity, Humphreys Engineer Center Support Activity (HECSA), GAO Support.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position is subject to a pre-employment drug test screening and random drug and alcohol test screenings thereafter.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
This position requires pre-employment and periodic medical examination for fitness of duty.
Qualifications
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Motor Vehicle Operator~ without more than normal supervision. Safely operate a motor vehicle, remain punctual when delivering passengers and cargo, remain knowledgeable of traffic laws, and prepare vehicle reports. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating
PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work requires mild physical effort and dexterity. Moderate physical effort is required to load passenger luggage and supplies ranging from 20 to 50 pounds. The incumbent must have correctable visual acuity and sufficient hearing to meet vehicle operation licensing requirements.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed both in and outdoors with exposure to all the usual climate extremes and the dangers of operating motor vehicles in difficult urban traffic. The incumbent may be required to work long or irregular hours to meet mission requirements.
Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
One year trial/probationary period may be required.
Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
