Must be able to obtain Food Handler’s Certificate. Must complete a Physical Examination within 60 days of hire. This position requires shift work including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: No previous experience required. Ability to read and understand written material and be able to follow simple oral instructions. Ability to perform simple math with addition and subtraction. Must be able to use hand tools for cleaning, and operate simple machines. Must be physically able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally over 20 pounds with assistance. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain Food Handler's Certificate. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation.
