Summary
This position is located in the Government Accountability Office. As a IT Specialist (ENTARCH) you will be responsible for supporting the SFD (Software Factory Division). The incumbent will be responsible for producing intuitive and user-centered designs and artifacts and project deliverables for new and existing enterprise applications as part of their UX design methodology.

For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Specialized Experience:
The PT-II position require one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower band/grade PT-I, CS-I, PE-I/GS-11 level (or equivalent) in the Federal Service, or comparable private/public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience in conducting, analyzing, and gathering usability tests, results, and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform design interactions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
