Summary This National Guard position is for a Production Controller (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1255000and is part of the Field Maintenance Shop 2, West Jordan, Utah of Utah Army National Guard. The selecting supervisor for this position is WO1 Samuel Westwood. IAW UTNGR 690-12 dated AUG 2022 and LIUNA-UTARNG CBA dated 11 OCT 2022, Priority will be given to all current, onboard employees of the UTARNG. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Military Rank: Enlisted/Warrant Officer Compatible Military Assignments: ENL: CMF 91, 92, 94 MOS: 88M National Guard Membership is required. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Medical screening will be completed upon selection for hire. Soldiers who accept a technician position may be terminated from the Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Qualifications *Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position. **Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. Specialized Experience GS 09: Have 1-year of specialized Experience equivalent to at least GS-1152-7. (Submit SF 50 to validate claim) OR Have experience scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities. Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility. Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Education Not applicable for this position.
