Summary About the Position: Serves as Operations and Maintenance Program Manager responsible for overall planning, execution, control and closure of high-dollar value, national priority, environmentally sensitive and/or urgent civil works projects associated with the Buffalo District navigation dredging program. Duties may include managing projects associated with flood risk management, navigation, hydropower, environmental, recreation, disaster response and other civil works related activities. GS-13: Specialized experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, inter-agency, intergovernmental, or military construction projects. Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of project in coordination with other functional elements. Monitor project performance and report on the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives. Lead the development and implementation of Project Management Plans (PMP).
