Join our Accelerator R&D Team as a Senior Platform Software Engineer and you can help make it happen. Your job? Supporting the platform team in creating the foundational layers and core building blocks of Sanofi’s products. You will support and help all other technical teams to focus on their productivity. Additinally, you will also help find ways for multiple teams to work on a cross project that can be replicated.

Main responsibilities:

• Improve the Developer experience 
• Lower the technical overhead for squads/pods 
• Be the point of contact for all things that could bring better standards and then deploy it
• Build various tools in a large pool of environment (cli, libraries, IaC, workflow) 
• Create documentation/recommendation on how to build Cloud Native solutions
• Be an advocate on the solutions built

About you

You don't need to check all the points! If you fit only a few of them that is more than enough. But expect to work on most of these points during your daily tasks.

Experience and Skills Required

• A proven track record in a simular role.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering is a plus, but not essential.
• Experience working on Cloud Providers
• Good understanding of JavaScript/Node.js 
• Experience of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS cdk or any others) 
• Knowledge of building libraries and tools 
• Knowledge of complex APIs systems (network, redundancy, security, logging) 
• Show a thirst for knowledge and desire to learn
• Knowledge of all transversal activities is a plus (security, optimization, process) 
• English is mandatory as we are an international team! 

• Self-motivated, takes initiative 
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
