We are looking for an experienced client-facing leader to join our growing team in the expanding advertising technology space.
The Account Director, Streaming Platform is responsible for growing an existing portfolio of seller accounts. This role works with teams both internally and externally to drive Magnite initiatives and shared client goals.
The Account Director will manage a book of seller accounts which may comprise of media owners, content creators, vMVPDs, hardware manufacturers, etc. This role is tasked with empowering clients to maximize revenue and grow their relationship with the larger Magnite family of technologies. This is an in-market, client-facing role.
In this role you will:
  • Have a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape with attention to video/CTV/streaming.
  • Meet and work to over deliver on revenue goals for specific accounts and overall book of business to contribute to national revenue goals.
  • Gain mastery of Magnite proprietary platforms and user interfaces.
  • Gain proficiency in Tableau reporting tool.
  • Solicit, capture, engage with and understand client product requests.
  • Report information internally to leads and to peers on account status, strategy and progress through multiple communication channels.
  • Analyze digital advertising performance and make recommendations based on current metrics with a vision towards strategic goals.
  • Use your top notch presentation skills to lead Quarterly Business Reviews, speak internally to C-suite stakeholders, and over time speak publicly as an expert in the CTV / streaming ad tech space.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in multiple written forms including email, call reports, Slack messages, and presentation decks.
  • Share learnings across the team and into the wider organization, collaboration is a must.
  • Utilize your sales background and ability to upsell Magnite suite of products to meet a multitude of customer needs while understanding the nuance of client's business and operational setup.
  • Form and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work effectively with internal teams on processes while giving input to ensure administrative tasks are in line with the "big picture" goals.
  • Track customers in the CRM system (Salesforce) and learn related processes.
  • Manage procurement, contract negotiations, effectively working with legal and business intelligence.

We're looking for someone with:
  • 6+ years working with advertising technology
  • SSP and CTV / streaming specific experience preferred
  • Clear, concise communication skills
  • Public speaking skills to engage audiences
  • Strong business acumen and professional tact
  • Excellent relationship management and the ability to form strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • We are open to training the right candidate with ad tech experience

In New York, the base salary range for this position is: $115,000 - $125,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
