You are: A detail-oriented communicator with an energetic presence, an entrepreneurial spirit and an obsession with all things beauty. Media savvy. Hungry to learn, evolve and try new tactics. This Account Executive has a pulse on trends and a passion for culture-driven work in the beauty and CPG spaces.
Responsibilities
- Play a meaningful role in client service, spanning account management, media relations, influencer content creation, research, planning, and more.
- Support on multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence – this includes creating media materials to support client campaigns.
- Build relationship with clients, journalists, creators and colleagues at all levels.
- Contribute to the execution of communications plans for Dove products.Â
- Provide cross-team support including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling media and competitor coverage audits, identifying relevant trends to craft and distribute pitches, coordinating team scheduling, and logistics.Â
- Support reactive and proactive media relations outreach. Existing media relationships in the beauty space is a plus.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, and an interest in creative problem-solving.
- Demonstrate an understanding of research techniques, including analysis of media coverage and online conversation (volume and tone).
- Support multiple projects from conception to completion working closely with junior and senior team members, as well as providing oversight to junior team members.Â
- Manage third-party partnerships (spokespeople, influencers, and field experts).
- Understanding of client business including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and retailers, and competitors in the marketplace.Â
- Supervise staff junior to you by motivating, coaching, and consistently providing feedback.

Basic Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated writing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in the beauty industry, beauty products and beauty brands.
- Strong research, writing and editing skills and the ability to develop meaningful contacts/relationships.
- Fundamental understanding of media outreach assignments and the ability to develop traditional and digital media strategies.
- Previous agency or beauty brand experience.
- Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to apply cultural happenings and trends to the thinking they are doing on behalf of client.
