ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
We are searching for a highly motivated Account Executive - Senior Account Executive (commensurate with experience) to join our team.Â
Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, working with multiple clients and collaborating daily with internal team members and agency partners. The team member is responsible for maintaining and supporting an efficient working environment for assigned account(s). S/he/they will keep communication channels clear and open among members of the assigned account group, as well as other departments within the agency. S/he/they will also monitor project workflow to ensure work in progress is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
MUST BE ABLE TOÂ :
- Communicate effectively in both a verbal and written manner; proofing work of oneself and others.
- Maintain direct, timely and appropriate communications with team and/or client through conference reports, status updates, etc. Respond quickly and effectively to client questions, requests and needs.
- Be able to prioritize workload, multi-task projects across several lines of business, and/or elevate appropriate questions to manager when necessary.
- Embrace team dynamics and be able to collaborate/lead internally and externally with different departments and agency partners (media, creative, production) on project needs.
- Have a desire to see projects through to completion, problem-solving challenges along the way, but also ask questions and be curious.
- Multitask, managing multiple projects simultaneously and within a fast-paced environment.
- Become an expert in the category. Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s business and industry monitoring industry news/updates.
- Attend and actively participate in client meetings, maintain project schedules, update status reports, taking ownership of projects by managing the day-to-day operations, necessary revisions, and approvals.
- Ability to manage and direct resources (internally and externally) to work effectively across departments (production, creative, copy edit, etc.), developing production schedules and timelines for creative projects that balance client and agency needs.
- Understand and follow all agency procedures and be able to explain procedures to others on the assigned accounts.
- Think through implications and develop next steps during meetings, conversations or whenever project parameters change.
- Take ownership for team communication; keep entire team informed of project status and/or changes.
- Show attention to detail in project management; ensure team’s action items are completed.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO USÂ :
- 2-4+ years of professionally relevant experienceÂ
- Experience working with clients via email/phone as well as in-person
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of energy and enthusiasm
- Sense of humor, empathy, patience and passion for the brand and industryÂ
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability
- Hardworking, detail-oriented and has a knack for getting things done
- Work effectively and confidently across departments and with all management levels
- Experience working across multiple channels and tactics (Traditional & Digital Creative and Media) Â
- Proficient in MS Office
