The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Specialist with a focus on Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expense processing and auditing. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, auditing employee expense reports, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.

What You’ll Do

  • Review, verify, and process employee travel and entertainment expense reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure all expenses are accurately categorized and documented with appropriate receipts and approvals.

  • Conduct detailed audits of T&E expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.

  • Identify discrepancies or policy violations and resolve issues in collaboration with employees and management.

  • Provide feedback and training to employees on T&E expense policies as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of T&E expenses and ensure proper documentation is retained for audit purposes.

  • Utilize accounts payable and expense management software (Concur and Navan) to generate reports and track key metrics.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the T&E expense processing and auditing process.

  • Assist in the development and improvement of T&E policies and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Global AP Team and organizational objectives.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance

  • 2+ years of professional experience in an accounts payable specialist role

  • Certified Yellow Belt Six Sigma is a plus

  • Experience with Concur, Navan or other similar expense management software system is a plus.

  • Experience working in a global company with a diverse, multi-cultural workforce is a plus

  • Experience handling multiple currencies is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Great attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
