Accounts Receivable Analyst

General Information:

Hitachi Energy, located in Earth City, MO, is seeking a Financial Analyst (AR) to support the finance team with a focus on accounts receivable. This position will, with limited supervision, perform duties that involve reviewing and approving new orders, supporting project management team with invoicing and accounts receivables, and basic financial reporting tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

• Review and approve new orders for accuracy and compliance with company polices.
• Manage new order set up process to ensure smooth handover to project management team.
• Monitor order backlog and monthly revenue forecast for timely and accurate reporting.
• Monitor monthly invoicing for compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Manage and maintain accounts receivables for timely payments and timely dispute resolution.
• Reconcile accounts receivable discrepancies and action appropriate measures such as credit memos and tax memos.
• Develop reporting processes to keep management updated on customer account balances and overall cash projections.
• Support the finance team with analyzing financial data and preparing reports as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, cost accounting, or accounts receivable
• Strong experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and communicate effectively across multiple functions.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
