Position Summary:

Boku Inc is looking for a strong and highly collaborative Accounts Receivable Specialist, to join its Finance team in Estonia. The Accounts Receivable Team is responsible for preparing the accounting entries, producing statements and invoices, and managing credit control to ensure Carrier/Wallet Partners cash is received timely.

Your Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:

  • Prepare and manage invoices and account statements for Carrier and Wallet Partners on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Perform and assist with reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and promptly resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate with Carrier and Wallet Partners to ensure timely receipt of payments.
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable files and records for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Support month-end financial close tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Produce financial and receivable summary reports for management.
  • Assist in preparing data and responding to internal and external audit requests.
  • Utilize Boku’s accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV) to ensure seamless financial processing.
  • Actively participate in improving and streamlining processes within the Accounts Receivable team.

What You Bring:

We’re looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-4 years in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus).
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and an analytical mindset.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies, challenge the status quo, and propose value-adding solutions.
  • Teamwork: Proactive and comfortable working both independently and as part of a motivated, professional team.
  • Time Management: Skilled at prioritizing and managing workloads to meet tight deadlines.
  • Global Mindset: Experience working with cross-functional and international teams is a bonus.
