Actuarial / Financial Analysis Senior Advisor

This position supports Cigna Health Plans Pharmacy segment by managing inter-company financial relationship with Express Scripts, leading analytical and economic evaluation works for multi-year/multi-channel pharmacy growth strategies and managing the development of advanced analytical capabilities and processes. It partners closely with Cigna Pharmacy Product, Pharmacy Finance and Express Scripts Finance and Supply Chain Economics teams. It manages one actuarial staff and reports to an Actuarial Senior Director.

Detailed Job Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance Pharmacy Benefit Service Agreements (PBSA) and related performance monitoring and management frameworks between Cigna Health Plans and Express Scripts for health plan segments including US Commercial, IFP, C+O and Medicare.
• Develop economic value measurement and analyses for multi-year or multi-channel pharmacy growth strategies and initiatives such as network development, specialty benefit optimization and PBM transparency pricing.
• Manage the team efforts to design, develop and maintain data visualization assets and advanced predictive analytics based on eligibility and drug utilization data associated with millions of Cigna Pharmacy customers.
• Coach and develop one actuarial staff member.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics or related field.
• 5-7+ years of professional work experience in actuarial, finance, pharmacy or other similar roles.
• Associate of Society of Actuaries designation preferred but not required.
• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in the use of SAS, Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Experience with database and analytics applications (SAS, SQL, Python, R, and/or Tableau) are preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 120,600 - 201,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
