As we continue to expand our Behavioral Health services, we have a full-time opening for a skilled board-certified/board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist to treat patients in our Behavioral Health Department both virtually and in-person. You will work collaboratively with our primary care and specialty providers, cognitive behavioral therapists and embedded primary care clinicians utilizing a hybrid work schedule from both home and in-office. Manage a wide variety of mild to moderate psychiatric conditions as well as provide psychiatric consultations. Help the psychiatry program grow and progress as it enters into the realm of value-based care.                                                   

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct patient care, including psychiatric assessment and medication management to patients in the Behavioral Health Department
• Psychiatric consultations to primary care providers
• Educating physicians and nursing staff on psychiatric disorders and medication management within the primary care setting
• Developing psychiatry services and programs to meet the needs of t Summit Health’s patients and providers

Successful candidates must be a NJ licensed Psychiatrist.
