UNC Health Southeastern Cardiology & Cardiovascular Care seeks a Physician Assistant to join our community-based practice of Cardiologist, Interventional Cardiologist, Cardiovascular Surgeons, and APPs.

• M-F 8am – 5pm
• One weekend/month, Sat-Sun, 8am – 12pm, coverage for consultations
• Combination of clinical duties, stress testing, and patient consultation 

Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (PA) program. Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification if required by the Department.

Southeastern plans to add Fellowship programs in cardiology, critical care and sports medicine in 2025 and 2026. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Experience Requirements: APP experience preferred. 

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Demonstrated clinical competency. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
