The Role
Pantheon recently completed it’s Series E funding of $100M led by the SoftBank Vision Fund. This investment enables us to double down on our focus of building a world class partnership capability. Partners have driven close to half of Pantheon’s growth historically - and our channel resellers have been a key piece of that. While historically that meant web development agencies, we are now investing into expanding that team to create a true channel motion - with a focus on partners that have standardized their solutions around Pantheon.
As Pantheon’s first Agency Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating opportunities for prospective agency partners. You’ll be sourcing good fits among existing Pantheon trial users and inbound leads. As our partners’ first human touch with our brand, it’s crucial you have the ability to develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders. As one of the key hires in Pantheon’s fastest growing business unit, your ability to influence partners will have a direct impact on Pantheon’s growth.
Cool Things You’ll Do
- Educate prospective Pantheon Partners on the value of WebOps and the Pantheon platform
- Share solutions and new opportunities to expand our partner’s usage of PantheonÂ
- Conduct research on agencies and prospect and leverage creative outreach strategies to connect with them
- Work closely with our Channel Partner ManagersÂ
- Travel to marketing & community-based events for sales support
What you Bring to the Table
- 3-4 years in a Sales Development roleÂ
- Track record building successful partnerships
- Proven success carrying a quota and a belief that forecasting is key. A sharp focus on goals and a belief that daily, weekly and monthly activities will help achieve them.
- Ability to proactively forecast a pipeline of renewals and upsell opportunities
- Ability to prioritize within and manage a book of 50-75 partners through contract negotiations, billing inquiries and shared client renewalsÂ
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Comfort presenting and leading discussions around technical solutions with business stakeholders
- Travel as necessary to support our Partnership and customers

- Proficient with Salesforce CRM, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and other sales platformsÂ
- Experience with inbound or outbound sales development
- Experience in SaaS, open source, agency or professional services
