Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force's existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies to support Humanitarian Disaster Relief and crisis response in Australia and nearby regions.
Your Role
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical at our RAAF base Amberley Hanger, you will perform maintenance tasks on the fleet of C27J Spartan aircraft. You will work under the DASR 145 Maintenance regulations and assist the crew team leader in ensuring all tasks and responsibilities comply. Participating in small working groups you will aid development of future base maintenance state and capability.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess a certificate IV in Aero skills (Mechanical) and be able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearence. You will have thorough knowledge of the structure and use of interactive technical publications. You will have be passionate about the aviation industry and have a willingness to learn. We are passionate about growing our own, if you wish to progress and move into a leadership position, we would encourage and support you in this.
If you do not already hold C27J type course, we would look at putting you through one as soon as possible.
