Purpose of Position
This role is in the core Business Operations team, which is led by the Head of Business Operations. The team has been established to oversee the finance and operations of Pantheon Securities, LLC and facilitate the operational requirements of servicing the bespoke private wealth channel which includes high net worth investors into our flagship funds, supporting our 40 Act and CIT offerings and working on new initiatives and products

The incumbent of this position is prohibited from undertaking investment management or providing investment advice.
Key Responsibilities
General Operations Knowledge and support of Private Wealth Initiatives
- Develop an understanding on Pantheon products and operational infrastructure/framework to better understand the flow of information and how data can be extracted from Pantheon systems
- Will gain a well-rounded education of the alternative investment space, the dynamics of Private Equity and the cross-section with Private Wealth channels.
- The incumbent will be expected to build strong interdepartmental relationships across the firm including Core Operations, Valuations Analytics, Product Control, Investment Structuring, Legal/Compliance, Investor Relations, etc.
- Listen and engage in exploratory conversations around new initiatives in order to build a metaphorical library of knowledge on the variety of private wealth channels and offerings.
- Work with the Head of Private Wealth Operations to research and produce content and visuals for new fund initiatives
- Reduce risk by building upon and documenting current and future processes.
Oversight and operations of Pantheon Private Wealth products
- Build and expand upon knowledge of current and pipeline products which Pantheon offers to the private wealth sector including, but not limited to, 40 Act funds and defined contribution offering (“CIT”).
- Work alongside Head of Private Wealth operations to build out the Private Wealth Operations function, infrastructure and team
- Build and maintain a relationship/rapport with key private wealth stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Assist in process improvement projects with relevant parties, both internally and externally, as it relates to private wealth products
- Support the audit processes of the firm’s private wealth offerings, particularly the AMG Pantheon Fund and CIT.
- Work closely with Core Operations teams to ensure custodial recognition process is running properly and remedy or respond to matters as they arise
- Assist Private Wealth sales organization with ad-hoc projects and queries as needed.
- Work with Private Wealth sales team to handover operations-oriented processes and procedures
Assist in the day-to-day activities of the firm’s Broker Dealer – Pantheon Securities, LLC
- Ensure the integrity of the team’s Broker Dealer deliverables tracker and develop for scale as needed and directed by the Head of Private Wealth Operations
- Support the review and close of Pantheon Securities’ close of monthly books and records
- Support the production and review of quarterly regulatory filings and other internal process
- Work interdepartmentally and with external parties to support the annual audit of Pantheon Securities as directed by the Head of Private Wealth Operations
- Build a firm understanding of Pantheon’s Written Supervisory Principles (“WSP’s)
- Liaise with Pantheon’s UK Finance team regularly to investigate and reconcile with affiliated entities’ books and records
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Should be willing to travel to London (HQ) shortly after hire to receive interdepartmental training with the core operations teams based in the UK.
- Must have or be willing to obtain within 6 months of employment, FINRA Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Should have a professional demeanour and natural high EQ while having a team player attitude with a willingness to learn
- Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload to meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Professional working knowledge of MS Office, with emphasis on PowerPoint and excel dexterity; VBA experience will be seen as favourable
- Prior work experience in the financial sector with familiarity of the alternative investments or private wealth space required
- Ideal candidate will have prior working experience in either a front- or middle-office setting with exposure to reporting, client queries, and/or the end-to-end operational processes within a financial firm
- Knowledge of software and tools such as SAP Business Objects/Crystal Reports, PowerBI, Tableau and/or QlikView is a plus.
- Degree in finance, related degree or degree in quantitative or technology subjects preferred.
