The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the API testing efforts and ensuring that our APIs meet functional, performance, and security requirements.

They will work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to design and execute test plans, manage test cases, and report on testing progress.

• Lead the API testing efforts for our products and applications
• Identify and report defects and work with development teams to resolve issues
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that APIs meet functional, performance, and security requirements
• Manage and prioritize testing tasks and resources to meet project timelines
• Develop and maintain testing documentation and reports
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures
• Mentor and train testing team members

Functie-eisen

• 7+ years of experience in API testing
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with API testing tools such as ReadyAPI
• Experience with REST, and other API protocols
• Experience with programming languages such as Java or Python is a bonus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
