Your Role and Responsibilities
BA/Application Developer
Job Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management & Analytics Division

Sitting within Reserve Management department the front office Application Developer cum business analyst / product owner is responsible for managing the applications and processes used for portfolio management and trading of assets managed in-house.
  • Work closely with portfolio management and trading functions to understand their business requirements translating business-to-technical requirements and vice versa
  • Design build/enhance test implement and document processes/tools/systems in partnership with IT middle and back offices as well as software vendors to support front office workflow
  • Plan and work with department and Client partners on implementing road map of front-office workflow feature development / upgrades
  • Ensure front office processes and procedures meet internal standards for data integrity security and auditability
  • Monitor analyse and troubleshoot front office processes to ensure their smooth functioning.
  • Manage project implementations with vendors covering procurement and related administrative issues;
  • Oversee change management to facilitate the users to product adoption and new ways of working.
What we are looking for
  • An undergraduate degree in business-related or IT-related fields
  • Preferably 3-10 years relevant working experience including product management/ownership or system used in similar functions preferably in investment or financial domain
  • Strong sense of ownership and growth mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with good problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of user-centric principles and/or service design
  • Adept communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders across all levels
  • Experience working in cross-functional groups representing views of different stakeholders and influencing teams towards achieving shared goal
