Job Description

We seek team members who are adept at contributing their expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Lead a team of 3-4 designers in conceiving and executing various print and digital projects.
• Projects will include brand identity, packaging, point-of-purchase displays, print and web advertising, sales collateral, and other tasks as needed.
• The Art Director will also be responsible for developing film concepts and collaborating closely with the Trove Studios production team.
• Plan, execute, and deliver film projects spanning various styles (studio, lifestyle, product), budgets, and lengths.
• Design within and help evolve brand standards, with openness to input from the Senior Art Director, Director of Brand Experience, and Brand Managers.
• Must be responsive to feedback, capable of making quick changes, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within production schedules and meet deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

We seek employees who are adept at contributing their expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Strong design acumen with a good eye for balance and color. Strong layout skills. Knowledge of type and typography.
• Proven experience in art directing photo and video shoots
• Strong layout skills and creativity
• A strong working knowledge of Adobe CC is required, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat
• The ability to quickly rough out or sketch basic ideas through brainstorming and then implement that idea digitally or in high-fidelity form.
• Strong interpersonal communication and soft skills. You will be working with a diverse team of individuals: brand managers, digital marketers, developers, video & photo production, and copywriters.
