YOUR MISSION
As an Artist (Motion Graphics), you will be responsible for creating industry-leading motion graphics & design plus supporting video media content produced by Marketing Creative for Warzone Mobile and Call of Duty: Mobile. You will contribute in multiple areas of production from start to finish, including brainstorming, basic game capture, post-FX, and finishing, both creating your own assets and supporting other Artists and Senior Artists. This position reports into the Associate Creative Team Lead (UA, Video).
As an Artist (Motion Graphics), you will also provide support and mentorship for the other members of your team. Your creative input, technical problem-solving skills, and professional experience will prove invaluable to your colleagues as they develop alongside you.
This role includes but is not limited to the following duties:
- This position is 70-80% After Effects Motion Graphics and 20-30% 3D knowledge, or the desire to learn it.
- Work with ACD & ACL in the creation of original motion graphics assets, including game UI, lower thirds, title cards, 3d renders, and cinemagraphs, for use in Growth Strategy UA Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and editorial projects.
- Perform visual effects tasks including tracking, matchmoving, keying, rotoscoping and compositing.
- Versioning GFX to various specifications including frame rates, aspect ratios, and codecs for various viewing platforms.
- Update After Effects projects and other assets received from external sources.
- Maintain and promote high standards for project and asset management.
- Organize, archive, and back up projects.
- Implement feedback from ACDs, creative leads and customer groups.
- Foster creative and technical development amongst team members.
- Light, re-map textures, animate, and render 3d models provided by internal & development studios.
- Troubleshoot software and equipment, including Apple Mac Pro and PC workstations.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
PLAYER PROFILE
- A demo reel that showcases experience with social media & digital marketing campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of After Effects.
- In-depth knowledge of commonly used plugins, such as Red Giant suites and Video Copilot plugins.
- Proficient in, with ability to integrate, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro into workflow.
- Knowledge of/Desire to learn 3D packages; Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, Blender 3D or Maya.
- Strong communication skills with ability to work directly with partners.
- High-level design execution, i.e. composition, motion, framing, alignment and timing.
- Firm grasp of project optimization, with emphasis on render times and organization.
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, and implement the creation of original GFX for projects.
- A good listener, and able to give and take constructive criticism to refine and enhance.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize projects with high level of autonomy.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- High level of attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience. Video game industry experience a plus.
- College degree in the requisite field or equivalent experience preferred.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $26.83 - $49.63 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
