The Role

The asset analyst has overall responsibility for the integrity of the information in the asset repositories.Specific responsibilities are:

• Reviewing and resolving all asset discrepancies or variances

• Correlating contract information with asset repository records

• Verifying the accuracy of asset information from other processes.

• Update asset records based on incidents/tasks/requirements received

• Attach the documentation and/or artifacts required at each stage of the process to the asset record

• Identify areas for process improvement and communicate them to the Asset Manager

• Support asset retirement and recording of activity results.

• Manage insurance procedures

• Manage theft/loss reports

• Safeguard the documentation associated with the assets at any stage of the process.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 years of experience with:

• License management (including software license compliance)
• Inventory management (includes physical components)
• Allocation of available assets to meet approved requests
• Retirement of obsolete assets
• Suggesting the request for additional assets (for example, if there is a policy of maintaining minimum inventory stock levels for the standard asset item that is frequently needed)

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge in asset and contract management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in similar roles within the technology or services industry.
