Job Description



Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
We seek to hire a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to support our construction team in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet, communicate with, and welcome guests
  • Escort visitors to the appropriate person or meeting room 
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Maintain the appearance of front desk and ensure that supplies are available
  • Maintain and restock common areas with refreshments throughout the day
  • Maintain, organize, and assist with the general upkeep of supply orders and inventory
  • Arrange food orders as requested,d including set-up and clean-up as appropriate
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort, and manage daily incoming and outgoing mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Assist the Office Manager when needed with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance with a customer service attitude   
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • High school degree: additional certification in Office Management is a plus
