The Senior Analyst is responsible for using data from numerous sources to craft strategic opportunities

to drive Hill's growth, share, and overall profitability. This position will work closely with marketing,

customer teams, outside vendors, and internal data scientists to "connect the dots" and further Hill's

overall priorities. This person must be a leader in identifying trends/insights and will work to manage

projects from conceptualization, presentation, and execution of outputs.

Principal duties and responsibilities:• Leverage knowledge of numerous data sources to combine information and "connect the dots" to

identify strategic opportunities to drive growth and profitability• Lead data retrieval within Snowflake and assist Data Scientists on key projects• Lead multiple high visibility projects at once, including project conceptualization, execution, and adoption

by key partners• Manage key data partnerships, including being the subject matter expert, regularly presenting

insights/opportunities, and championing the training/sharing of data internally• Drive automation of work with internal/external vendors (optimize dashboarding, data collection,

repeated ad hoc requests) and also adoption of resources to broader team for self-service

analytics• Lead creation and improvements of Domo dashboards• Quickly and accurately provides Ad Hoc analysis where needed• Finds ways to further support and craft Hill's strategies and goals

Minimum qualifications: • Bachelor's degree• 7+ years of related experience, specifically in roles that require solving business problems

through analytic application• Skilled in data visualization and presentation

Preferred qualifications include:• Experience with data visualization in Domo or similar platforms and cloud based systems, such

as Snowflake• Knowledge of CPG data providers (Nielsen, Rakuten, IDEXX, Numerator, etc)• Experience leading key projects, including the adoption within key partners• Experience in driving strategic decision making and presentation skills/ storytelling• 7+ years in Business Analytics or highly analytical roles.• Proficiency in BI and/or SQL (or other programming languages)

Technical Skills• Sophisticated analytic skills and ability to connect insights across numerous data sources• Proficiency in SQL and/or other programming languages• Advanced level of Excel and/or Google Suite

Other• Ability to develop strategic opportunities and move forward with projects with little to no

direction• Presentation and storytelling abilities• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)• Capable of working on a cross functional team• Strong personal leadership to effectively coordinate among multiple internal and external

teams
