In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of materials to meet customer demand while optimizing our intercompany supply chain. Your ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining strong supplier relationships.What You Will Do:

- Demand Management: Analyze and understand forecasted customer demand to ensure supply meets these requirements from our intercompany supplying facilities.
- Delivery Optimization: Drive all activities necessary to achieve deliveries aligned with customer request dates, ensuring a seamless supply chain process.
- Order Management: Create and maintain transfer orders between Collins facility plants, as well as manage stand-alone intercompany purchase orders and corresponding sales orders.
- Purchase Order Oversight: Maintain the Open Purchase Order Book, ensuring all orders are up-to-date and accurately reflect current demand and supply status.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with designated intercompany suppliers, effectively communicating needs and expectations.
- System Alignment: Align purchase order system dates with customer sales orders, ensuring accuracy in all documentation and communication.
- Communication: Act as a liaison with customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout the order fulfillment process.
- Production Participation: Attend required production update meetings for designated products, providing insights and updates as necessary.
- Issue Resolution: Handle the escalation process when deviations from plan occur, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement projects, contributing ideas and strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our operations.
- Typically requires a University Degree and between 0 and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
- Prior Supply Chain or Materials experience within a manufacturing environment (this can be from an internship)
- Proficiency in E1 and Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
- Experience in a continuous improvement environment is preferred.
This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience. Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at RTX.Minimum Program Qualifications
