    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Associate Data Engineer is part of a large technical team responsible for analyzing, cleaning, preparing, and integrating data into the system. The ideal individual in this role is extremely detail-oriented, analytical, and can convey large amounts of information in a simple manner.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Interprets data
    • Builds ETL pipelines
    • Filters and cleans data for clarity
    • Works with customer-facing teams to ensure quality of service
    • Works with management to prioritize business and information needs
    • Develops new process improvement opportunities
    • Takes ownership of special projects where requested

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Experience working in a role with a high attention to detail and accuracy 
    • Working knowledge of SQL and Python or other coding languages
    • Working knowledge of ETL/ELT
    • Experience with low code platforms similar to FME, Alteryx, Talend, or Fivetran
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Problem-solving abilities and good interpersonal skills
