Job Description
Associate Marketing Program Manager will support Consumer Marketing team and be the go-to person for project management, budget management & invoicing as well as competitive activity reporting and presentation creation. This role is a critical component of success of the marketing team!
You should have extensive experience independently managing multiple projects that require collaboration from cross-functional teams, working within matrixed environment. Ability to anticipate problems and find creative solutions to issues that jeopardize program goals/business objectives is critical.
You will work with internal and external teams as well as agency partners to coordinate and manage marketing projects and collaborate on producing marketing presentations. You will be a key resource for competitive reporting, maintaining automotive and marketing industry knowledge while leveraging competitive monitoring tools to surface competitive trends. You will be a go to resource for marketing team budget maintenance and invoice processing, managing multi-million-dollar budgets and will liaise with finance and agency partners.
Successful candidates will be analytical, proactive, self-motivated, possess strong project management skills, detail oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and ability to influence others is a key skillset.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and manage multi-million-dollar budgets
- Own the Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader monthly billing process with accuracy and in a timely fashion, partnering with internal Finance teams and external agency partners
- Leverage competitive monitoring tools to research and surface current trends amongst the competitive set, and identify new movers and shakers in the automotive industry
- Project management of reoccurring and ad hoc deliverables, responsible for achieving deadlines with limited direction from manager
- Support managers in development of collateral that highlights marketing efforts and performance on an ongoing basis.
- Support managers on various projects and deliverables, department communications, monthly reporting, meeting organization, etc.
- Assist with ad-hoc marketing projects or needs, including special presentations and reports.
- Prepare monthly executive KPI slides and other various presentations.
- Communicate in a timely and effective manner, while keeping managers and peers apprised of project progress and/or timeline concerns and provide resolution options to avoid issues.

Who You Are/ Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years of project management experience, including hands on experience with day-to-day management of multiple projects. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field.
- Facilitate productive meetings with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Build internal and external relationships.
- Lead conversations across matrixed organization with strong executive presence.
- Proven ability to be successful, working within a fast pace, highly matrixed environment.
- Analytical/problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Traditional and Digital Media experience.
