Job Description

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will optimize inventory to meet customer needs and financial targets, providing analytical and planning support to the SEA sales team (excluding Indonesia).

You will develop, validate, and consolidate regional sales forecasts, and recommend inventory purchases by region and product category to maximize profitability, meet demand, and mitigate risk. A key focus will be aligning sales plans/budgets with demand plans/inventory purchases. You will also be responsible for regular reporting and analysis.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Maintain and manage monthly item level allocation plans for all assigned brands.
  • Take ownership of critical inventory, working daily with sales and demand planning to chase, match, and ship orders.
  • Responsible for reviewing daily inventory levels, committing inventory to sales orders within the allocation flow plan.
  • Accountable for maintaining time sensitive inventory safety stock levels in support of approved customer requirements
  • Reviews demand forecasts and provides analysis and recommendations for adjustments to allocation flow plans to maximize sales and minimize carryover inventory.
  • Maintain replenishment order fill metrics and prepare weekly order fill reports.
  • Develop strong working relationships with local sales, marketing, regional demand planning, and logistic teams.
  • Collect and organize appropriate and accurate data required to support timely and intelligent decisions
  • Compile/prepare reports, graphs, and charts of data developed
  • Collaborate with local teams in order to define the top-level Sales Plan/Financial Plan
  • Team up with sales teams, and demand planning to forecast future season volumes & mix based on analytics and historical similarities/trends
  • Partner with local teams to capture all of the signals (promotions, discount, events, major changes in door count, etc.) to be reflected in the detailed forecast
  • Provide strong support to Regional Demand Planning.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • BA/BS in finance/economics/international business
  • Expert level knowledge in Excel is a must, and other MS Office tools
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an analytical capacity with strong ties to planning
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong math/analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management
  • Strong understanding of sales planning processes and strategies
  • Strong understanding of the different functional departments and how they affect each other
