Job Description
As a Digital Learning Solutions Developer II, you will have the opportunity to drive learner engagement and improve employee knowledge, skills, and job performance. You will be a key contributor in the launch of our state-of-the-art gamification and performance platform. Job Summary
As the Digital Learning Solutions Developer II, you will play a key role in identifying, recommending, and creating digital learning solutions that enable business partners and stakeholders to achieve essential business objectives. You will work collaboratively to produce high-quality videos, interactive content, graphics, and other digital learning products, all of which will be delivered through an innovative microlearning platform designed for just-in-time learning and enhancing on-the-job performance.

Your role will involve discovering innovative methods to boost learning retention, leveraging your visual design and digital marketing expertise, and adhering to established procedures and design standards to craft microlearning solutions that incorporate social media trends and resonate with the modern learner. Additionally, you will design and develop dynamic, responsive microsites using cutting-edge web technologies, ensuring optimal performance, speed, and scalability
Job Responsibilities
1. Produces high-quality microsites, videos, and graphics with extensive experience using industry-standard applications such as Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud (including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Animate, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
2. Utilizes design thinking, digital design, and agile development processes, while recommending improvements to existing workflows.
3. Actively contributes and collaborates within a team, iterating on solutions, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability, and exploring new tools and approaches to deliver solutions efficiently and at scale. Applies agile methodologies to manage all aspects of learning development projects, from needs analysis to implementation.
4. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and trends to infuse fresh ideas into microsite projects
5. Ensures all training materials are thoroughly reviewed and approved by necessary stakeholders, adhering to established procedures and standards for design and accessibility.
6. Engages with project sponsors, management, business stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand needs, provide recommendations, and develop learning products focused on enhancing employee experience and performance. Holds all project stakeholders accountable for content delivery, review, and approval deadlines, escalating issues as needed.
7. Monitors KPIs and other business metrics related to learning products, evaluates the effectiveness of learning solutions by reviewing learner feedback and testing data, identifies trends, analyzes and summarizes results and impacts, and shares findings with key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
1. 5+ years of experience with JavaScript including jQuery and React libraries, HTML5, and CSS3
2. Proficiency with Articulate Storyline
3. Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly and effectively
4. Manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and agile development environment
5. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes
6. Strong time and project management skills, demonstrated by timely task completion and high-quality deliverables
7. A robust portfolio that highlights your design and development skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in web development, computer science, instructional design, digital learning design technology, multimedia technology, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent extensive work experience
Proficiency in the design, production, and editing of video-based learning while applying instructional design principles to engage learners and meet instructional objectives Proficiency with design and development software in multiple Adobe Creative Suite applications (such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, or Animate), and proficiency in multiple design and development tools/programs (including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, SCORM, gamification, audio/video studio production and editing, generative content using artificial intelligence, 3D modeling, and Microsoft Office tools)
Experience in researching, evaluating, and prototyping emerging technologies and approaches, and providing consultation on their potential application in learning environments
