The Atlassian/JIRA Administration Engineer at Cboe will be an integral part of the Enterprise Corporate Services team, providing world class service to our internal clients, effectively managing projects and executing ongoing programs. You will be working in a small team of technologists that provide support to the Atlassian collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket as well as other applications provided to the corporation. You will help support the entire application stack from the deployment to a Linux OS or Cloud product down to the configuration of individual settings within the tools. You will be responsible for providing guidance to business partners as they work to automate solutions and provide processes, statistics, and documentation for their own work tasks. You will have the opportunity to explore and utilize a myriad of technology products and programming tools to support our environment consisting of off-the-shelf products and custom-built applications. You will be expected to stay current with the direction of the technology and to share your learnings with the small team and the wider Cboe staff.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Jira Software and Jira Service Management Data Center/Cloud
• Confluence Cloud
• Bitbucket Data Center/GitHub Cloud
• Opsgenie
• RHEL Linux systems and managing RHEL unit file services
• Jfrog's Artifactory Cloud/Edge

The ideal candidate has:

• At least 2 years of experience with Atlassian product Administration
• Compassion for customer needs, solving problems, and translating business requests into requirements and actions
• Mastery of Atlassian Tools
  • Cloud Organization administration
  • Atlassian Product application configurations
  • Jira workflow development
  • Creating and managing integrations between Atlassian products and other vendor solutions
• Experience with programming languages like
  • Groovy
  • Python
  • PowerShell
  • SALT
  • JSON
• Working knowledge and familiarity with development tools and products
  • Atlassian APIs
  • Vi
  • Git
  • PostgreSQL
• A desire to self-govern your daily work assignments and align them with fluctuations in company direction
