Automation SDET-Java/Selenium

Infosys is seeking an Automation SDET with Selenium and Java Experience

As an Automation Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 4 years of Information Technology experience

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate one of these areas. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• 4 years in software automation testing and quality assurance with technical architect role expertise.
• 4 years of strong proficiency and hands-on automation testing experience with Selenium, Java, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub
• Strong test automation framework development and enhancement hands on experience preferably using Selenium, LeanFT and mainframe, API technologies
• Technically strong to resolve any framework or script execution issues
• Go to person for a larger team technical handling and drive the team in terms of organizational goals
• Solid hands-on experience with Jenkins CI for continuous integration and Jenkins pipelines.
• Technical hands-on experience in handling and driving the team for technically.
• Experience in working with business team, handling, and reporting
• Experience in designing and implementing various automation frameworks across multiple client organizations.
• Design and implement test automation solutions/ strategies to achieve optimization, reduce cycle time and to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Experience in In Sprint and End to End automation and Agile Methodology
• Design and build DevOps pipeline for new programs.
• Experienced in Mobile Testing, Microservices / API and Browser Compatibility Testing and automation of Microservices / API and Browser Compatibility Testing.
• Strong coding skills in Selenium, Java, TestNG, Maven and good to have experience in one more tool like UFT, etc.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong framework knowledge and experience in writing re-usable methods/library
• Strong in providing technical solution and solving automation issues and challenges
• Good to have one API automation tool exposure (optional)
• Good to have mobile automation experience (optional)
• Effective team handling and good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain experience in investment banking products and corporate action

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
