About the Team!

Known as CommOps Policy Developers, also referred to as COPD, undertakes the essential task of "codifying" policies on a global scale, encompassing all touchpoints within the support framework, and seamlessly integrating them with the Policy engine. This team is responsible for the systematic implementation of policies across a diverse range of interfaces.

The candidate will work with a team of developers to create, maintain, and automate processes to assist regional, and global operations. The role would require large collaboration with other team members and stakeholders. The candidate needs to be a big-picture thinker and strategic partner. They also need to demonstrate analytical thinking through data-driven decisions and possess the technical know-how, fascination, and ability to work with your team to make a big impact.

Your Impact in Role:

1. Develop and Optimize Automation Solutions: Lead the design, development, and implementation of automations that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our customer support operations.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global stakeholders across various teams, including engineering, operations, and product for automation and ensure alignment with business objectives.

3. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional growth within the team.

4. Innovation and Strategy: Stay ahead of industry trends in automation, and ensure to incorporate these in your daily work.

What You Will Need:

1. 3-4 years of work experience in a similar role

2. Exceptional JavaScript knowledge with strong SQL background

3. Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment

4. Ability to quickly learn and transfer knowledge to the team

5. Strong communication and organization skills

6. Effective people, program and stakeholder management skills

7. Have a sense of ownership of the deliverables

8. Capability to lead a team/vertical

9. Experience with Agile Methodologies

Tool & Technologies:

1. Excellent SQL, Javascript Programming/coding skills and JSON data manipulation

2. Knowledge of code management via GIT

3. Knowledge of Databases (Vertica, PostgreSQL)

4. Knowledge of GraphQL &/or Lucid Charts is a plus

5. Knowledge of JIRA
