Azure Cloud Administrator - REMOTE

Driverse (A DRB Company) is a growing and vibrant software company in need of a skilled Azure Cloud Administrator. This person will help manage and optimize our Azure cloud infrastructure.

As an Azure Cloud Administrator at Driverse, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Azure-based infrastructure to ensure its reliability, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with our development teams to support the deployment and operation of our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Azure Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and maintain Azure resources and services, including app services, databases (SQL and Cosmos), storage, and networking inside multiple subscriptions.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards in Azure environments. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery strategies for Azure resources. Test and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and system availability.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Azure Resource Manager templates, Bicep, or Terraform to automate resource provisioning and configuration.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Use Azure DevOps tools to enable and maintain efficient and reliable CI/CD workflows.
• Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline routine administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator with a focus on Azure cloud services.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• Proficiency in Azure Portal, Azure PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with Azure backup and recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with Azure Management Groups, Subscriptions, and Resource Groups.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

The base compensation range for this position is $107,000 to $112,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity. For this specific role, you may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
